Operational Review

In addition to detailed analyses involving the business’ valuation, value/risk drivers and readiness for sale, the Blueprint to Maximizing Market Value report includes an Operational Review. This analysis provides a graphical framework to clearly identify and prioritize those areas of the business that will benefit the most from the implementation of strategic initiates in line with the owner’s goals and objectives.

The Operational Review looks at each of the main functional areas in the business such as leadership, operations, human resources, sales & marketing, finance and information systems in terms of their specific contribution to the owner’s overall objectives. Several individual elements are analyzed within each functional area including people, process, metrics, and plans among others to assess the contribution of each area to the desired outcomes. The end product of this process is the creation of an organizational map that clearly identifies those areas in which compelling action plans can be created to support the business’ value enhancement strategy.
